About Us

Welcome to Jingle Poetry
A Public Poetry Blog For Poets Who Share and Encourage...

This blog will start its operation officially on September 11, 2010.

Up to 15 positions are available to help U, a fellow poet, who either are previous supporters of Thursday Poets Rally, or are wiling to join Poets Rally, take a leadership role in this new born room.

Poems or Art Images Are copyrighted by Artists or Poets themselves, we are NON-profit and simply wish to share poetry, get inspired or inspire fellow bloggers, and have fun!

Activities of Jingle Poetry

Mondays: Poetry Potluck

One of our Monday officials will take charge in Monday’s MckLinky post, once determined, two of the Monday officials will take turns to host Monday’s Potluck, poets are allowed to link in 1 to 3 poems and feel free to read and comment other poets as many as possible, no specific requirement on how many they need to do. It is simply a way to share.

Tuesdays: Review Tuesdays

One of the Tuesday officials will host a post on Tuesday to represent a poetry blog selected from our community. Call it Review Tuesdays.

Wednesdays: Meet Our Poets

One of the Wednesday officials will represent a poet, you can interview the poet by asking him/her questions.

Thursdays and Fridays: Reserved

No events, space preserved for Thursday Poets Rally.

Saturdays: Poem of The Week

One of the Saturday Officials will select a poem from Monday’s participants to represent in the blog.

Sundays: News About Poets/Poetry

Post some recently updated information from online or other sources to share information, including some humor or comedy too.

Jingle is the community consultant who is here to answer questions via emails, and recruit fresh poets to our budding community. LadyNimue will be assisting her in the consulting as well, so feel free to contact them if you have any questions.

We hope you have a wonderful stay with us here at Jingle Poetry, join us and let's have lots of fun together with poetry and friends!<3

I am sorry I missed the boat this week. I actually got a paid writing gig (yeah!) and it cut into my time. Next week I will be back with a few new ones. If I don't participate it is not because I don't have something it is more because I did not have the time to read the other writer's work. I take that part very seriously. If I participate I will read and comment. You have my word.

There is some problems with the previous blog template and I have no idea what it is...so I changed to a new one which brings out most of the center, hope this will give everyone a better feel =D

What a great community! I can't do Thursday rallies all the time --time constraints--but I visit that page and this page often. How else can I be involved Jingle? I'd love to be interviewed as a poet, and I'm a journalist so I could interview another poet for you some time...let me know...leave me a comment on my blog...thanks for providing such a great online community for us poets.

Jingle, I am so happy to be invited to share some of my poetry work. I am pleased :) I will be out of town (and I hardly ever leave the mountains) from the 19th of November through the 28th for a family vacation so I might have to catch you on the 'backside.' I will see what I can do. I do have a poem called "On Poem Writing" that I would like to share.
of "Whoa...at Home in the High Country."
You have a w-a-y cool web site!
:):) No...you rock!

Thank you for the lovely comments you left on my blog, I like words but don't consider myself a poet (yet)! There are plenty here for me to get some clues though!

With you in spirit, Sue x

Thank you for the lovely words on my blog. I am following now. Would love to participate but don't really have a poem that fit the theme. I know you told me to share 1 to 3 as a new follower so maybe I'll take my chances! :)
I love reading others words...am nervous about sharing mine...but am thrilled you found me.
Looking forward to inspiration and friendship!
Be blessed~

Happy Saturday Everyone.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I, too, am a follower and try to participate as much as I can. I'm somewhat of a newbie blogger (from Jan 2011) and still have a lot to learn, but am looking forward to this journey with you all as well.

I just came to your site. Would like to join but I find no place to do so. I have just released a new book of poetry, SPLINTERS OF LIGHT, and would enjoy sharing excerpts here. My website is mindsinger.com

Oh Jingle, thank you for keeping me on your radar. You have done wonderful things here. A place for sensitive hearts to meet and share their hearts. We are blessed and I wish you continued success on your journey.

Just to let you know I have a poet interview on my blog on 15th April: Matt Harvey.

I am gradually improving with my medication, but my brain still isn't up to writing poetry. My best has been a few haiku. Fingers crossed I shall be back on form soon.
Thanks for keeping me in the loop.

This is probably the wrong place to ask a question, so I'll make this short so I don't annoy anyone. :-)

I have questions about posting on this site, is there a contact address or another location where I can ask a few questions?

Love the site, thanks!
