Scream And Sing The Chorus Again

Happy Weekend all! .Our Monday prompt " Inspired by a song " had brought many wonderful submissions from many creative writers in Jingle Poetry .Each one has their own creative input for the given prompt .Some wrote poems inspired from some songs they love and some tried to create songs.Whatever you have explored made creative talents to grow here and there.Out of the many submissions ,I have picked up Meet K Shawn Edgar @ Pull Of The Sun Poetry Submission "Scream And Sing The Chorus Again"

The poem involves deep thinking of the writer about physiology of human.As you read the poem .you can notice why the writer has chosen the title " Scream and sing "..LoL.He had weaved powerful thoughts within few lines.Hope you like it too .

Scream And Sing The Chorus Again

Sweat,
cool salt bath for hot head.

Blood,
warm drink for cold skin.

One,
exits a body via pores;

the other,
via disorderly abrasions;

both,
re-enter via pan-dimensional hoops,

sliding along air-cushioned
blacktop pavement slopes
parallel to concrete curbs.

It’s caveman on, and
slam off.

It’s caveman on, and
slam off.

It’s scream and
sing the chorus
again.

smart pick.

this one is very effective and compact.
it truly sings its own chores.

Seems like a catchy tune. Now all we need is K Shawn Edgar's voice for a singalong.

Great pick Umamaheswari.
