POETRY POTLUCK - Love, Bonds and Relationships

A warm HUG to all you awesome people!!

Aleza joins us today!! Yaayyy!! And it's my honor and pleasure to be working with this enthusiastic and sweet lady!!

And together, we (Aleza and Kavita) are delighted to welcome you all to this love-filled week at Poetry Potluck... February's all about love... and this week, especially so!!! So here we are... with loads to share about our Love, Bonds and Relationships ... Won't you join us?

Register yourself (with your name and the link to your potluck entry) using InLinkz below, and leave a comment with a pointer to your post! It would be great if you could link back to us on your blog!!! Once you are done with this, visit other participants (at least 6), read their entries, comment, AND ENJOY!!! Of course, you can always submit any poem of your choice as well...

Remember: Every week, InLinkz will be up on Sunday, at 8pm (CST), and will stay open till Wednesday, 8pm (CST). So you will have 72 hours to share your poem with us...COOL huh?!! Also, if you aren't new to Poetry Potluck, please note that we may not send you weekly reminders. So, it would be awesome if you could add us to your Blogroll or Favorites, so that you can stay updated with the happenings on our site!! :))

Flash Forward!! Having bonded over this week, it only makes sense to talk about what we call Our Home,  Temple and Sanctum next week... You have one entire week to prepare your poem for this theme.. :) And if you are unable to submit a poem ON the theme, relax... Send in an older poem you would love to share with us...

And now, LET'S GET STARTED with this week's potluck!!!! Enjoy the VIDEO here and write on... Thanks for joining in and supporting your fellow poets here at OUR favorite Poetry Potluck!!!

Lost Sole in Sedona (A poem by Aleza)

All alone, resting
at the earth’s feet
A lost sole in search of
a mate to meet.
 Most shoes walk by,
but it’s worth the wait
 Someday he’ll run into
his sole mate.

Kiss n Tell (A poem by Kavita)

treat as
the symbol of
pure creamy love
as sweet as rich honey
soft on lips, melts to touch
leaving traces in the heart
of desire for some more
tender lusciousness

And guess what!

Oh lovely, lovely words!

I'm re-posting something I wrote earlier. Everything I tried the last couple days came out too cliche. I hope you get a chuckle from it!

Absolutely, love time! And it's exploded, love bursting everywhere, 161 poems already, and barely Monday!

I have to admit, love poems are those I find most difficult to write.

Looking forward to the drenching!

3 Little Words
by Scotia Nightpoetry

You mouth 3 words
I see each letter
Leaving your lips
On cold, thin air and
View their trajectory as
Engagingly insincere.
You smile, you hope
Openly, like a hyena
Unlikely to forgo its meal.
