Review Tuesdays - OF LIVING AND LOVING

There are billions of poet in this world writes poetry for their passion but only few write as a dedication to someone special in their life. Here is one of those poets who pen down her journey out of the darkness and into the light, where she found sunshine again. I am here to review one of the sweetest Sanctuaries, “OF LIVING AND LOVING... AND COPING...” of Bing (PinkLady).

About Bing:

PinkLady is the pen name of the person, Bing Viloria-Yap, an inspiring blogger from Philippines. She says that she is here to share her random thoughts about losing her husband and finding herself again. In her journey of life, she fought to come out of the darkness and found sunshine again. Inspiring words from her are

There is no such thing as a negative experience... only opportunities to grow

If God brought you to it
He will get you through it.

She loves to be a wife at first, lover, a best friend and most importantly a mother to three sweet children. I am nobody to tell about Bing’s inspiring Poetry or the way she inspires us in her space.

Bing owns two blogs,

OF LIVING AND LOVING... AND COPING... http://pinklady-bing.blogspot.com/ (her journey out of the darkness and into the light, where she found sunshine again) where she pens down her inspiring thoughts and lovely words.

About “OF LIVING AND LOVING... AND COPING...” (Her journey out of the darkness and into the light, where she found sunshine again)

An inspiring blog that sketches the journey, “out of the darkness and into the light where she found sunshine again” and to inspire several innocent hearts. She is one of those sweet hearts who had dedicated their blog to someone special in their life whose loss is never ever equaled. Well I do not have words that could describe this blog better.

With an unmatchable header image (Bekah Richards of deviantART); she has designed her blog fantastically with three column template with a footer. The blog contains a very good collection of widgets; to start, it has features like ‘Google Friend Connect’, ‘Networked Blogs’ and twitter made following easy. The sidebar feature widgets like ‘Recent Posts’, ‘Recent Comments’, ‘Subscription’, ‘Blog Archive’, ‘Blogroll’, ‘Poetry communities’, ‘Ranking & Ratings’, ‘Blog Stats’, ‘Slideshow of awards’, ‘Useful Websites to visits and more make me say, ‘Wow! What a collection!

The blog consists of five pages:

Guest: a place for us

Contact Me:  a space that helps anyone to reach Bing.

Moving on: http://pinklady-bing.blogspot.com/2009/05/of-living-and-loving.html - a poem that conveys ‘Of Living and Loving... and Moving on’

Last but not the least, James’ story: http://pinklady-bing.blogspot.com/2008/10/we-were-not-ready-to-say-goodbye.html - a heart touching poem that inspires several innocent hearts... PS: I am one of those inspired hearts.

The archive of her blog says that she pens down from October 2008.

About Bing’s Poetry:

A poetry world composed of emotions as ink and words as weapon to inspire several billion hearts of blogosphere. The journey started from here, "We are not ready to say Goodbye" as she sketched her pains of her life and from that day onwards the way she found sunshine again as poems.

Bing has penned down different forms of poetry (say Haiku, music form, freestyle to name a few). They are beautiful, thoughtful, soulful and most importantly they are inspiring to many hearts.

In her journey of blogosphere (2 years, 3 months, 1 week and 4 days), she has written at a constant pace with a reasonable count of poetries (239). To pick a few from the bunch of roses is really a hard job. However, my personal favourite is "We are not ready to say Goodbye"

Bing contribution to Thursday Poets Rally and Jingle Poetry are awesome numbers and one should be blessed to read those.

Suggestions:

Bing, as your pen name is PinkLady, the blog would look chill if the background is pink. Do create a page in FaceBook to reach as many people as possible.

Special Words:

Bing, the way you inspire people is awesome, do continue to inspire many such hearts.

About this Romantic Verser:

SiS, thank you so much for this heartwarming review of my blog. i was rendered speechless (to the point of tears) as i read your post. it is such an honor to be featured in jingle's poetry by one of my favorite poets.

i did not take poetry seriously until i had "the jingle accident". :D it took a lot of prodding and encouragement from ji before i finally took the bait... and when i did, i could no longer stop. see, i have a lot to thank jingle for. and yes, it's all freestyle- no rules, no standard structure (well, except for the haiku). they are basically random thoughts of mine. it is quite humbling to know that there are people who appreciate my pieces.

i have been "out of circulation" lately due to the demands of my work but i do intend to bounce back and write poems again.

again, THANK YOU SiS... i am both honored and humbled by this post. much appreciated.... muahhhh!

a big thanks also to the commenters whose words here touched my heart... fiveloaf, you are truly special. :D:D:D
