POETRY POTLUCK - Seven Deadly Sins!

It's Monday - POTLUCK time again!!!!

Hello and WELCOME back to the sixth week of Poetry Potluck!!!

We (Amanda and Kavita) are as pleased as ever to welcome you here... This week, it's all about the deadly sins!! Quench your thirst, and write away!!!

Register yourself (with your name and the link to your potluck entry) using InLinkz below, and leave a comment with a pointer to your post! It would be great if you could link back to us on your blog!!!  Once you are done with this, visit other participants (at least 6), read their entries, comment, AND ENJOY!!!  The theme for this week is Seven Deadly Sins. So let your imagination soar along the heights, and immerse in the silky sands... write on! Of course, you can always submit any poem of your choice as well...

Remember: Every week, InLinkz will be up on Sunday, at 8pm (CDT), and will stay open till Wednesday, 8am (CDT). So you will have 60 hours to share your poem with us...HOW COOL IS THAT!! Also, if you aren't new to Poetry Potluck, please note that we may not send you weekly reminders. So, it would be awesome if you could add us to your Blogroll or Favorites, so that you can stay updated with the happenings on our site!! :))
Flash Forward!! After a sinful week, we shall once again get back to being nice. So, the theme for next week will be "Love and Romance"... You will have a week to prepare your poem for this theme.. :) And if you are unable to submit a poem ON the theme, relax... Send in an older poem you would love to share with us...

And now, LET'S GET STARTED with this week's potluck!!!! Enjoy the VIDEO here and let those creative spirits flow!!! Thanks for joining in and supporting your fellow poets and our favorite Poetry Potluck!!!

(Image courtesy: photobucket.com and deviantart.com)

Entwine they did, enthrallingly
two artists penning poetry.
Replete with rhythm thrumming, rhyme,
handwritten figures moved in time;
abscond diurnal ordin’ry.

Their verse was wrought so eagerly,
lithe forms, of trope, those aurally,
awoke her from an act in mime.
Entwine they did.

A congress urged, compulsory,
yet tender, and so palpably,
sublime the peaking mountain-climb.
Collaboration, fluid line,
denouement reached, euphorically;
entwine they did.

Where innocence is concerned,
SIN is a dirty word.

Thank you Jingle for visiting my blog and inviting me to join in the fun, but, I am not a poet, nor do I claim to be. After reading others poems, I can't even begin to compete with all you great poets.

I love reading poems, but my little mind just doesn't think like everyone else's. I think like a child, and just write corny poems.

Jingle Poetry At Washington State said...

Ann, no worry,

you can link in an old poem to share, take your time to read others, you can come here to read any time before next Monday.

thanks for the feedback.
Jingle values your opinions.

Thank you so much for the invitation you left on one of post on Intinglligent or else I doubted I will ever make it in the time. I just saw your comments and I flew to your site immediately.. Thanks for giving those who (like me) who has no poetry relating to the the theme and has too little time to write and join upon knowing.. Yep, it is kind of last minute thing to me but I really glad that I am here.. :) :) And now, I will certainly take note of next week's theme and hopefully, can write something related to it.. :) :)
Just submitted one of my past poem at no.154 but it seemed the word 'Lies' had been cropped.. :( :(
Alright, enough said.. Time to visit others now.. :) :)
